So, I miss going outside with just a t-shirt on, but it’s the dead of winter and that’s not likely to happen any time soon in my neighborhood. We’re deep into the thick sweaters and cozy sweatshirts and hoodies, and depend on the space heater and sleeping socks in order to get a good night’s rest.
But all of these things will just make the spring that much sweeter when it arrives.
“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.”
–Anne Bradstreet
It’s COLD outside. While this is not news, it does make me long for Spring. Which of course reminds me of an old Proverb that always perks me up:
“No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow.”
–Proverb
Fellow warm weather worshippers, hang in there….and keep your neck wrapped up!
Today’s quote comes from my friend in The Wave’s sales department, Jason Roberts. He’s a smart and motivated guy, and now I know at least a little about where some of his inspiration comes from:
“If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.”
–Tony Robbins
So…are you going to do what you’ve always done this year? Or maybe break out a little bit and try something new, perhaps a new approach to a long-time problem, or take up a new hobby that puts the spring back into your step? There’s just nothing like a clean slate that a new year brings to reach deep down inside of yourself and create a new reality for you and for those around you.
Happy NEW year to you.
