I got this one off when surfing around Facebook last night. Hadn’t heard it before, and I’m a big Mark Twain fan. So maybe FB wasn’t a complete time-suck! LOL
“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”
–Mark Twain
Beautifully stated. Thanks, Isabella Wall, dear friend.
Today’s quote comes from one our wittiest American writers, Oscar Wilde. In true “Wilde” fashion, he suggests:
“Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.”
–Oscar Wilde
I don’t even need to add anything to that, do I?
My Dad is a huge fan of C.S. Lewis. He has every book C.S. ever wrote in his collection and has read them all at least once. Pulling just one thought from the enormous collection of observations, here’s today’s quote:
“You don’t have a soul, you ARE a soul. You have a body.”
–C. S. Lewis
He has a point!
