Loving these final days of summer so much. Last runs on the beach before you have to wear a sweatshirt, dips in the Pacific on the weekends, and those blow-out sales at the stores where you can buy a bikini for a song! Ahhh. I love it all.
Soon we’ll break out the sleeping socks and the heavy sweaters again for evening, but right now let’s enjoy the lightness of our apparel and our spirits. And remember:

My friend Patty Phillips is a wonderful woman who knows the power of possibility. She built her own company, “Patty’s Presto Pizza, Inc.”, from the ground up with her own two bare hands. There were enormous challenges along the way, and with sheer determination and hard work, she overcame each an every one of them.
Patty sent me this quote today (from a Nike campaign) and I hope it helps you find your own power to overcome those challenges in your life you might feel are “impossible.”

Running around a little more than usual now that fall is almost here and the kids are back to school? You’re not alone. but you should be! At least for a few minutes a day. Sometimes there’s just no better company than your very own self, as witnessed in today’s quote from actress Ellen Burstyn:
