Today’s quote comes to me from my dear friend and Wave cohort, Keri Tombazian. She takes care of you weeknights from 7 to midnight on her long-running show, “Night Grooves.”
Keri and I share all kinds of things as we change shifts: cuisine, coffee, comfort, companionship, and sometimes, quotations.
She reminded me about this saying that was popular back in the day and holds true today.
“Be here now.”
Because, after all, now is where we are. It’s not the future, which we can’t anticipate, and it’s not the past, which we can’t change. So –just be here now, and enjoy here now. We are blessed. Let’s live like it.
